ART CLUB

Art Club at Bodhi International School

The Art Club aims to provide a platform for club members to learn specific skills required for inter-school and inter-house competitions. Students will also become more familiar with the concepts of collaboration and teamwork during the club sessions. The motto of Bodhi International School’s Fine Arts Club is to inspire and encourage active participation, skill development, and artistic expression. Having an art club is a great way to keep students involved throughout the year. With limited time in the classroom, Art Club can serve as a nice supplement for those innovative students who can’t get enough art. Students are encouraged to think outside the box during club activities.

Importance of Art Club

Bodhi International School promotes holistic learning. Keeping this vision in mind, hosting an Art Club sanctions free expression by students. They get the opportunity to experiment and create art from their imagination. Students have unique ideas and powerful imaginations and need the space to work through their artistic expression on their own terms, without any objectives or boundaries. The Art Club is also a place for practising artists to hone their skills, develop their techniques and portfolios, collaborate with other artists like themselves, create bonds with the community through the arts, and learn how to work together through group projects that will beautify the school and community.

Objectives of the Art Club

  • The main objective of the Art Club is to provide students who have an interest in art with an opportunity to explore art and craft forms beyond what is offered in the curriculum.
  • It helps the students develop their leadership abilities.
  • It gives students the opportunity to work individually as well as in collaborative group activities.
  • It helps them develop a positive attitude towards school and life beyond formal education.
  • Art is beneficial for relieving stress, training the brain, and providing opportunities to connect, collaborate, create, and converse.
  • Clubs help them get into good colleges and universities, improve your academic performance, and boost your mental health.
