At Bodhi we consciously look at enhancing and developing critical and creative thinking skills. We believe in creating ‘Learning that Matters’.
It enables them to think clearly and rationally, understanding the logical connection between ideas that they learn as a part of their curriculum and their real life practices. We believe in building learners who have the ability to reason and think rather than focus on accumulation of facts.
It’s about learning forever and building enduring understanding.
This is done through all spheres of learning and teaching through critical thinking pedagogical practices and extensive use of Project Zero Thinking Routines by Havard Gradner.
They are able to understand and create links between ideas. They are taught how to identify inconsistencies and errors in reasoning. Classroom practices help students reflect on the justification of their own assumptions, beliefs and values and make confident interpretations that they stand by.
